LEVERAGE (review/recommendation):

So, first of all this isn’t a real review but more like recommendation or suggestion?

Recently, I watched every single episode in just a few days, I actually watched a season a day. And I only do that with shows that really capture my interest and make me want to keep watching. Or make it impossible to stop. 

And this show did all of that. Why you ask? Well, personally I like the idea of the show - which I like to describe as a crossover between the Ocean’s movies, Robin Hood and a smart comedy show.

I don’t want to give away too much (I also started watching it without knowing anything about it and it made it so much more fun.) but basically, a group of great people get together to avenge people who have been mistreated by other people or corporations and can’t avenge themselves. They not only avenge them by getting them money, but also by getting their ‘clients’ their reputation back, for example, or ruining those who did them wrong.

Every single character is great in their own way but they’re even greater together as team and watching them grow closer and closer was - and still is - such an amazing experience.

Apart from that, the relationships - the couples - are also portrayed in a real way that I can relate to because there is no big moment when they suddenly get together but it happens gradually and step by step - just like it does in real life. And I love that. So much. I loved watching the relationships grow in a real way that wasn’t ridiculous or unbelievable. 

My favorite thing about the show is the group dynamic and how well they all work together and how they become a real family in the end. Watching them grow individually and as a group filled and still fills me with so much joy.

Furthermore, I really like the Ocean’s movies and shows and movies with similar plots, just like Leverage.

So, if you want to watch a well written show, with interesting individual episodes but with longer plots as well, this show is the right choice for you. But also, if you like watching a realistic take on relationships, friendships and a group that eventually turns into a family.

So, 9/10. Would highly recommend. (As usual, I am saving my 10.)
